Ooi Kok Hin is a Malaysian writer, columnist, and civil society leader born and raised in Penang. The author and editor of books including Letters to Home, Making Democracy Work, and Aku Kafir, Kau Siapa, he writes a regular column for Malaysiakini and was formerly executive director of the Coalition for Clean and Fair Elections (BERSIH), the youngest appointed to the role.
