Kathrina Mohd Daud is a Bruneian writer and academic whose work explores Bruneian literature, storytelling, and literary traditions. Based in Brunei Darussalam, she holds a PhD in Writing from the University of Manchester and has published widely on Bruneian literature and its cultural contexts. Her debut novel, The Fisherman King, was shortlisted for the Epigram Books Fiction Prize in 2020. Beyond her academic and creative writing, she is an occasional playwright with Salted Egg Theatre and a translator of Malay fiction into English, bringing stories across languages and audiences.
